The NextAIRE Horizon Europe project is pleased to invite you to our first workshop in the Scientific Data series.
📅 Date: Monday, 9 June 2026
🕐 Time: 13:00 CET
💻 Format: Online workshop with hands-on exercises
Workshop Agenda:
- Introduction to Pandas DataFrames
- Creating and loading tabular data
- Selecting, filtering, and sorting data
- Creating derived variables
- Grouping and aggregating datasets
- Hands-on exercises with real environmental data examples
🎤 Speaker: Dr. Mario Dudjak
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (FERIT), Croatia.
Dr. Dudjak’s research and professional interests focus on machine learning, data science, and bio-inspired optimisation. His work bridges computational methods with real-world environmental applications.
In his teaching and training, he specializes in practical, example-driven approaches to programming, data analysis, and scientific data manipulation — making complex concepts accessible through hands-on learning. His expertise is particularly valuable for researchers working with large environmental and air quality datasets.
