NextAIRE was proud to be present at Indoor Air 2026, the 19th International Conference of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), held in Singapore from 14–18 June 2026 under the theme “Enhancing Wellbeing in Existential Challenges – Deepening Understanding, Building Resilience.”

As the world’s premier scientific forum on indoor air quality, Indoor Air 2026 brought together leading researchers, industry experts and policymakers to address the growing urgency of healthier indoor environments. It was the perfect setting for Ass. Prof. Mario Lovrić, PhD — Coordinator of NextAIRE, Group Lead at the Institute for Anthropological Research and Assistant Professor at the University of Rijeka, with expertise in ML applications for environmental and health domains — to introduce the project to a global audience of air quality scientists and practitioners.

During the event, Mario presented NextAIRE‘s objectives, its cross-sectoral training methodology and showcased the project’s E-Learning Platform, now publicly available on GitHub.
The platform hosts free, interactive training material structured into four core modules:

Air Quality and Exposure
Data Science
Low-Cost Sensors
Machine Learning Fundamentals & Applications

Τhe platform is designed to support researchers, engineers and students developing skills at the intersection of air quality monitoring and artificial intelligence — fully aligned with NextAIRE‘s mission to strengthen the European R&I talent base in this field.
