This session is designed to provide you with the essential coding skills needed for research and development in the air quality field.
Speaker:
Mario Dudjak, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology (FERIT), University of Osijek.
Mario Dudjak is an expert in machine learning, data science and bio-inspired optimisation, known for his practical, example-driven training. His research focuses on the application of AI and data science methods for engineering and environmental monitoring.
Workshop Agenda:
- Introduction to data visualization with Matplotlib and Seaborn
- Creating and customizing line and bar plots
- Exploring distributions with histograms and boxplots
- Analyzing relationships using scatter plots, correlations, and heatmaps
The workshop will be delivered as a hands-on, live-coding session with practical examples from air quality datasets.
Who should attend:
Researchers, PhD/MSc students, data scientists and engineers working with time-series environmental data.
Prerequisite: Basic Python/Pandas knowledge.
